Copy-Paste disabling from your Website and Blog

What does it mean by copy-paste?

Basically, when we copy something from a website. Then publish them to our site without making any change means the copy-paste.

Think you wrote a post on your blog or website. You have done a lot of research for writing an unique post. Let, you gave your Minimum effort to write that post. Though you have gave minimum effort, you have to spend a lot of time and labor to write the post. But, when you visite a site you saw that the post you are reading is yours. But there is no credit of you even your websites name also not there . Definitely your mood will be bad. Copy or paste means to copy a post whether it is mentioned or not. And if someone copies your post without your permission it will be plagiarism.On the contrary, if you copy someone’s content without permission that would be also plagiarism.

If someone copy-paste from our blog will it be a problem for our website?

Yes, if someone copy from your site and paste the exact same thing to their website it can create difficulties to indexing your website.
Suppose, you write a post by spenting lot of labor and time. But another person posted your own post through his site without your permission. Though he posted without permission, no link to the original post or the author’s link is provided below or in any place also. If that site’s rank is higher than yours. After that, the biggest problem you have to face is- – Google may assume that you have pasted a copy on your site of that post. So your site’s rank will decrease. There, you may also face other problems like not to get the Adsense Approval .

Again, if you copy-paste someone’s writing without permission, it will also support plagiarism. And if the original author of the article wants to, he can do copyright lawsuit against you. For this, you may have to go through a lot of trouble .

How you will protect your writings from copy-paste?

So if you do not want anyone to copy your writing and then use it to other site. Then, you can do this by placing a Java Script in your site.

For enabling this script to your site no one will be able to copy anything from your site. So he has to write a new post. This way you will be able to stop copying your articles from your site.

How to place the script on Blogger, WordPress and other web sites –

Once the above script has been downloaded then copy the text in the script

After that-

For the Blogger User-

1.Go to the Layout section and then select “Add a Gadget”

2.Now select ” HTML / Java Script “.

3.Leave the title box blank.

4.Now paste the copied Script you have download before in the content box and save it.

For Other websites –

  1. First, login to your Site’s C- pannel
  2. Then, Open file manager
  3. After that,

Find out the <body> </body> tag

4. At last paste the copied script inside the <body> tags.

Then save the file.

For WordPress –

  1. Login to the WordPress Dashboard
  2. Then click on “Edit Theme” from Appearance.
  3. From here, go to the “Theme Header” and find out the <body> </body> tags

paste the copied script inside the tags.

Now save the theme and exit the theme editor. Now none will be able to copy text from your site.

Note: You should back up the theme and site before working on WordPress and other sites.
